‘We’re more than you think’
Challenge
Construction and Building Unions Superannuation (Cbus) is one of Australia’s largest public offer industry superannuation funds. They have their own internal IT department, who needed a way to guide staff to request help for all their computer, phone and tech needs.
The task was to create a series of eight animated video communications, each focusing on a different capability of the Cbus IT department. Plus, a 2.5 minute overview video was required, in order to provide a clear demonstration of how the IT department operates
Solution
Fizz Farm works with a crack team of designers and animators, who love to create just the right look and feel for each and every project. This animated video package had to be bright, bold and playful, in order to convey the relevant information while keeping the audience engaged. A light touch and plenty of humour was deemed the way to go.
We started by spending a day with the Cbus IT team in a hands-on workshop, so we could immerse ourselves in their world and gain insight into exactly what they do and how they work. This is how we roll at Fizz Farm — we get in the trenches with the client to ensure we’re armed with a deep understanding of the brand and the business. From here we create content that shimmers with the right balance of information and tone of voice.
We wrote scripts and storyboarded the videos, then animated each in a unified style. Voiceover recordings, quirky sound effects and music topped off the colourful, eye-catching package.
